A very cluttered mind

Yesterday I was very upset because I felt like my friends and family were really letting me down about something. I feel a lot better about it today because things turned out better because of one person. I have always thought that family was most important; friends come second. But because Tyler has a very distant relationship with a lot of his family, he relies on his friends to be his family, besides me and my family. Sometimes my friends do more for me than my family. I am not referring to people specifically because that is drama that I am not intending to start. All I have to say is that I wish certain people would care more. I am tired of them pretending to care and/or being fake about how they are with us. I feel like we are a huge inconvenience to some people. We have been through a lot, and all we are looking for is some support. We have taken the steps to help ourselves so I am tired of people acting like we are working backwards. We are progressing. I am thankful that we have the same doctor so we are all able to communicate and stay on the same page with our conditions.

It's hard to think of Carter being almost 2. It's hard to picture him even crawling. It's hard to picture him doing anything that he wasn't able to do. It's all sitting in my mind. I'm not angry about it, but I am very upset. I wish that we could go broke spoiling him to death. I have been doing a lot of thinking about having kids. Tyler and I will have many more talks about it. It's a complicated situation. One that I am blessed that we are getting to discussed rather than having to make it work because it has already happened.

I'm gonna leave it here.

The Past Week

Well, needless to say, it's been a rough past week.  It's not like me to go a week without blogging.  I just haven't had much inspiration, or time, to get on and post everything.  My mind is so cluttered.

Anyway, I've recently started a new project that will be done in August, maybe July.  I am pretty excited about it.  I kind of already gave up on my 30 day challenge (I can't commit to daily things much anymore :/ ).  But this project is one that I've never done before, and I am excited to see how it turns out.

As everyone (or most) knows, Carter's first birthday was on Tuesday.  It was a sad day, but we made it through the day without "losing it."  I kind of got a little bit of anger directed towards me.  Some that was completely unnecessary.  But I guess when you are hurt and anger, things are said, some things that aren't meant.  Maybe they were, maybe they weren't.  Either way, it didn't stop me from caring for Carter, nor did it effect my appreciation for prayers that were said for Tyler and I.  God knows the truth, and he is taking care of everything.  And that's what I have to believe.  Tuesday was a day of reflection and prayer, not for family feud.  We all love him and miss him very much despite what the other side says.

Moving on.

I have debated on whether to publicly announce something that has me very excited (I doubt it's what your thinking).  Few already know.

Nahhhhh, I'll wait....

Meanwhile, we are slowly, but surely accomplishing goals that we have made for ourselves, together and separately.  We are adding to the list frequently, and subtracting at the same pace.  In a little over a month and a half, we will be on our way to considerably lower payments on our monthly bills.  Oh yeah, you don't even have to ask.  EXCITED!!!

Soon, my hubby and I are going to start seeing a therapist.  And for you people who think therapy is only for nutjobs and such, (sadly mistaken).  Some yes, but mostly, no.  I get tired of hearing that.  And the "What?? I thought you were going to school to be a psychiatrist.  Why would you need one?" The answer: Because death of a loved one will take its toll on you, sinking in debt will too.  Problems as such will cause sleepless nights and irritability, and why am I explaining myself?  There is nothing wrong with needing to talk to an outside source.  Psychology and psychiatry isn't always concrete.  Our marriage is in no way in jeopardy.  These are just personal struggles that we both have, we both understand, but we are past the point of being able to help each other through them, and that's okay.

Last, but not least, I have started the MINOR planning for our first wedding anniversary party.. Details TBA!!

Okay, I think I've just about updated everything.  I'm ready to start writing again.  Bring it on, inspiration!! (And I'll be blogging about therapy once it starts)

God Bless

Daily Thoughts, Unleashed

I have nothing to really post, single subject wise. I am kinda random today. I'm exhausted from this weekend. I can't concentrate on anything for a lengthy period of time.

Random thoughts of the day...

• Guys have it easy when they get their hair cut.. Women always get criticized about their hair being dry, needing color, etc. I have priorities, and spending $30 on their special shampoo that keeps my hair from drying out, isn't one of them.

• Little drunk girls who flirt with my husband when were out, crack me up. You may be young and cute, but he didn't get me by me being easy and obvious, so chances are he isn't attracted to you being that way.

• Celebrities don't give a shit about you.

• If you died tomorrow, it'd be a sad day for..... ?

• You shouldn't have to do whatever a
woman says to be considered a good dad.

• It's hard to come up with a first name that sounds good with Jill.

• Your opinion quit mattering over a year ago & won't ever matter again.

• You said I would never make anything of myself. What are you doing to make something of yourself?

• How do you get a DWI... For real?

• I'm ready to get out of this town & onto bigger & better things.

...GoodNight!!
